Distance Contract

1. General terms

This distance contract (hereinafter – Terms) sets out the procedure for purchasing services on the website www.dentalart.lv between SIA “Dental Art” (hereinafter – Seller) and the person placing an order (hereinafter – Buyer).

The contract enters into force when the Buyer confirms the order and indicates consent to these Terms during the checkout process.

The Seller has the right to amend the Terms by publishing the current version on the website. Changes do not apply to orders that have already been confirmed.

2. Services and prices

The services listed on the website, their descriptions and prices are final and include VAT (if applicable).
Prices may be changed without prior notice;

Through the online booking platform with prepayment, you can book consultations with various dental specialists and dental hygiene appointments.

3. Ordering and payment

Services are purchased using the online booking system available on the website, which is provided by a third party – “Qticket”.
An order is considered confirmed after payment is received and an automatic confirmation e-mail is sent to the Buyer.

A transaction notice and its details are displayed on the screen after purchase and sent to the Buyer’s e-mail.
Discounts and special offers do not stack unless otherwise specified in writing.
An X-ray examination is not included in the consultation price. The need for an X-ray is determined by the dentist during the consultation. You can find X-ray prices in the Clinic’s public price list.

4. Service provision

Services are provided in person at the Seller’s clinic in accordance with the Buyer’s reserved date and time:
Krišjāņa Barona iela 20, Rīga, LV-1050.

If the Buyer is late or does not attend the appointment, the Seller is not responsible for the unprovided service; payment for services already provided or reserved may not be refunded, except in cases provided by law or these Terms.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the service within 14 days from the date of purchase if the service has not yet been provided.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, please send a notice to info@dentalart.lv and complete the refund form.

Refunds are made within 14 days from the date of receipt of the withdrawal notice, using the same means of payment as used by the Buyer to make the transaction.
If the service provision has started within the withdrawal period with the Buyer’s explicit consent, the Buyer is obliged to pay for the part of the service already provided.

If the patient’s treatment costs are covered 100% by the insurance company, the prepayment is refunded after the visit based on the insurer’s confirmation and payment documents.

The prepayment is not refunded if the patient:

• does not attend the appointment;
• is more than 5 (five) minutes late for the appointment;
• cancels the appointment less than 24 (twenty-four) hours before it starts.

If the appointment is cancelled in a timely manner (no later than 24 hours before the appointment), the prepayment is refunded after a written application by the patient (refund form), indicating the bank account number to which the refund should be made.

6. Dispute resolution

Disputes are first resolved through negotiations or correspondence by writing to info@dentalart.lv. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with Latvian law.

7. Personal data processing

The Buyer’s personal data is processed in accordance with the Seller’s Privacy Policy.
