Dr. Lauriņa began her professional journey by earning a degree in dentistry from Rīga Stradiņš University (1999–2003), continued her specialization in periodontology through a residency program (2003–2006), and later obtained a doctoral degree (2011). She regularly attends courses, congresses, and conferences and also delivers lectures on periodontology.

She is a highly qualified specialist who works with both adults and children, providing a wide range of non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatments, including gum plastic surgery to correct gum line height (gum recession and gummy smile correction). Procedures can also be performed under anesthesia, sedation, or using laughing gas.

Dr. Lauriņa was inspired from childhood by her mother — a well-known and patient-favored dental prosthetist. As a periodontologist, she is not only an experienced practitioner but also an empathetic and patient-oriented professional.
