- When visiting the dental clinic of SIA “Dental Art” and/or the website www.dentalart.lv, SIA “Dental Art” may receive information containing personal data:
1.1. obtaining personal data directly (for example, first and last name, personal code, phone number and email address) for ensuring the treatment process and quality control of the treatment service.
1.2. information about visiting the website www.dentalart.lv is also obtained indirectly, for example: using cookies and/or other technical means. The purpose of this activity is to monitor and ensure better use and development of www.dentalart.lv.
- Personal data is processed by SIA “Dental Art” in accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data and other legal acts of the Republic of Latvia, which regulate the processing and protection of personal data. When processing and storing personal data, SIA “Dental Art” uses organisational and technical means that ensure protection of personal data from accidental or illegal disclosure, as well as from any other illegal processing.
- By using the services of dental clinic “Dental Art”, the Client/Patient agrees and allows SIA “Dental Art” to register, enter, store, systematise, use and in any other way process personal data provided by the Client to SIA “Dental Art”, to the extent it is necessary and for the following purposes:
3.1 data processing is necessary to ensure the treatment process;
3.2 the data is necessary for the identification and accounting of the Client/Patient;
3.3 data is necessary for communication and information (sending e-mail and/or SMS);
3.4 the data is necessary to ensure the fulfilment of other obligations arising from the transaction – treatment process and its provision.
- SIA “Dental Art” ensures the protection and security of personal data of Clients/Patients, their non-distribution to third parties in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Law and other legal acts of the Republic of Latvia, which regulate the processing and protection of personal data, including LR normative acts binding on the medical institution.
- The Client/Patient has the right to request that his/her personal data be supplemented or corrected, as well as stop its processing or destroy it, if the personal data is incomplete, outdated, false, or is no longer necessary for the purposes of collection. The Client/Patient can request the deletion of their data at any time. SIA “Dental Art” undertakes to fulfil this Client’s request to the extent that it does not conflict with the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the operation of the medical institution.
- The Client/Patient, by submitting a justified request in writing, has the right to receive the following information about the personal data of the Client/Patient held by SIA “Dental Art”.
- Personal data of customers/patients will be stored no longer than the term determined by the requirements of regulatory acts.
